think this belongs in screenshot section - but anyway, if you don't like male ele armor then make a female ele.

Ancient, Vabbian, Obsidian... They're the most abused designs for a reason.

I have elite flameforged on my male ele - that with the slim spectacles and destroyer gauntlets looks pretty good

In my opinion, male elementalist have some the best armor of all male core caster armors. This may be because I like the whole coat idea, but there are some rather good combinations that can be made with Male Elementalist armors. Other caster armors, such as Necromancer, it's a bit more trickier (but still possible).

Elementalist Ancient armor - the only good male ele armor - it's really a darn shame that others look gross ><

Elite Flameforged and Iceforged are very nice armor sets... add the fact that the Elite Flameforged has a gradient when dye is added that gives it one of the most unique effects in the game...
Elite Stoneforged is a nice set, but admittedly, not everyone likes it. It caters to a certain taste (as MOST armor does).
Elite Stormforged... too pointy. Nice lightning patterns, shitty overall contour on the armor.
I do think the Ancient Armor looks nice, but I don't particularly like the gloves... why would you want something loose and flowing around your hands when you are a "Master of the Elemental Forces"? Can anyone say roll spell failure chance? To me it looks like it would get in the way if you were, oh, I don't know... CHARGIN MAH FIREBALL! Burnt cuffs don't look Elite, even if they are part of an Elite Armor set. I'd replace the Ancient Armor gloves with something else... maybe some of the EotN Destroyer / Glacial / Granite / Chaos variety... no floppy sleeves on my caster, please.
Just my 2g...

FoW, ancient, elite luxon (it's really elegant and imo looks nice. And it's one of the few ele sets I've seen w/o any gloves whatsoever, just sleeves.) Norn has that nice fur-coat look to it, but of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so whatever you think looks nice usually is a good choice

Make a female, they have lots of cool armors. As for males... I don't really like many of their options. Elite flame/iceforged would be best I guess.
BTW, which games do you have, because different ones have different armors.

I can't believe so few people have mentioned Vabbian. Imo it's the best reason to make a Male Ele.
Besides, this thread doesn't belong here so I'm moving to Screenshot Request.

Hmm. Vabbian, Ancient, Elite Luxon, Elite Iceforged?
You could also mix and match armour sets.

ZenRgy is right, Pink Fissure is basically the best armor (read as; ONLY armor) for male eles.

I personally love Elite Geomancer, err Stoneforged is what it is now I think. Here's my armor. It's dyed black from before they changed the dyes a looong time ago.
